You know the cards are stacked in your favour when the director is the distasteful Michael Winner, shooting his film in a London which doubles for New York (! All the animals do come out at night—and sometimes, brazenly, during the day—but Death Wish 3 doesn’t get as specific as Bickle about the whores, “buggers,” junkies, and so on. With Charles Bronson, Deborah Raffin, Ed Lauter, Martin Balsam.

The romance that ensues is epic, until unfortunately, like all women that Kersey dates, she is horribly killed.
The plot has been copied many times, but it's never been topped.
Charles Bronson is back in his most famous role.
The music (by Jimmy Page) is great.

The great Kersey (Charles Bronson), ignoring advice to lay low for a while (like ten years! For example, the exchange between Paul Kersey(Bronson) and Ms. Kathryn Davis(Deborah Raffin) (more about this character later) is extremely clear and to the point: Ms. Davis says, "I hope you like chicken. Paul Kersey(Charles Bronson) turns into a one man army when Fraker terrorizes the old people who can't afford to move out, seems these punks need a lesson in manners and Bronson is there to deliver it. Cannon films were awesome back in the day, they made terrible movies, sure, but more often then not it was campy bad movie fun, not unlike this one. Was this review helpful?

The direction is lackluster, and the film is padded with a number of useless scenes. The action, direction and special effects are all better than the last time around, which isn't saying much. By creating an account, you agree to the Don't let that stop you, there is more where that came from.

What you really need to keep the streets safe is a big gun
and lots of bullets
and maybe a machine gun
and perhaps a rocket launcher too. Director Winner has said he doesn't approve of the film's philosophy of taking the law into one's own hands.
First, Charles Bronson's character, Paul Kersey, would have a relative or close friend murdered by street scum.
