Fantastic view to the black beach area. The Black Sand Beach Suites while very expensive was probably the best hotel we stayed in within Iceland. When we called the hotel to cancel, the manager was extremely rude and said that it was not that dangerous, and that according to her we can perfectly drive those 2 hours to get to her hotel (lol). In Vik I Myrdal. If you are staying in Vik, I guarantee you will not regret if you pick this place! A call to the reception soon saw a JCB sent to our rescue and after hauling us out we arrived. We are set in one of the most beautiful places in Iceland.The elegant suites are boasting all amenities and a breathtaking view Once opened we attempted to reach the apartments but became stuck in a drift. It's quiet, spacious, modern, clean, fully equipped kitchenette, toaster, stove plates, fridge, utensils, I mean you name it. ), the management made arrangements for us to access our suite. The apartments are in blocks of three - warm, comfortable and very clean. The location is perfect to see many of South Iceland's famous sites. Our 1st time there wasn't a main building or office but now there's a beautifully built hostel where you check in & grab a beer or snack which is just what they needed!
